Tuesday saw several people being arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County.
Kimberly Schaffer, age 58 of Centre and James Fox, 32 of Leesburg were each charged with Possession of Dangerous Drugs and Sonya Price, 38 of Leesburg, Nickey Jenkins, 45 of Gadsden and Charity Lowery, age 26 of Centre, were charged with Possession of Methamphetamine.
Price, Jenkins and Lowery were placed under arrest by the Centre Police Department – Schaffer was arrested by the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office, and Fox was arrested by the Leesburg Police Department.
All five remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond for Price, Lowery and Fox being set at $2,500 each; bond for Schaffer and Jenkins has yet to be set.
