For those that feel like avoiding family debates and in-laws for the holidays next year and taking a vacation instead, this may be the time to plan ahead.
ABC News combed through hundreds of Cyber Monday hotel deals sent to us for consideration. The criteria: the discount had to be at least 50 percent and the restrictions minimal. But book quickly — these deals will be gone faster than than a jet plane.
Affinia hotels, Manhattan
Affinia Hotel Collection will be offering its largest discount of the year this Cyber Monday. Guests can book with the New York City hotel brand and receive 50 percent off guestrooms and suites. As an additional bonus, every 50th reservation made will receive a complimentary upgrade to the next room category. This deal is available for early reservations beginning Nov. 22, 2016 for e-newsletter subscribers and Nov. 25, 2016 for non-subscribers. La Colección, Mexico
Fifty percent off rates at any of the brand’s 12 oceanfront properties located throughout Mexico: Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Cozumel, Chetumal, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco. The discount applies for travel Nov. 22, 2016 through Dec. 21, 2017. Travelers must book online between Nov. 22 and Nov. 28, 2016 at http://lacoleccionresorts.com/. Some blackout dates may apply.
24° North Hotel, Key West, Florida
Experience Cuban influence at Key West’s 24° North Hotel through December 2017, with 50 percent off rates when you book between Monday, Nov. 21 and midnight on Cyber Monday. Rates start at $109 per night.
Adirondack Luxury
Two of the Adirondack’s most famous — and luxurious — hotels are offering half off room rates. Lake Placid Lodge and Sagamore Resort are both offering 50 percent off when booking by Cyber Monday at midnight Nov. 28. The Lake Placid Lodge offer is good on stays March 1 to May 18, 2017. Rates start at $300. Sagamore Resort is good on stay dates of May 1 to June 17, 2017. Rates start at $175. These rates reflect the 50 percent discount, taxes and resort fees are not included.
Savings in St. Lucia
Calabash Cove Resort & Spa, Gros Islet offers the “Super-Seventeen Cyber Sale.” Book four nights or more in the Oceanview Suite and receive 50 percent off standard rates; a nightly stay is $399, per couple, including tax and includes daily full breakfast.
