Five People Injured In Single Vehicle Accident North Of Cedar Bluff

A total of five people were injured in an accident on Margaret Ingram Road just off of Highway 9 North of Cedar Bluff on Sunday afternoon.

Two of the five occupants were ejected from the vehicle, both were taken from the scene to a nearby field where two medical transport helicopters were awaiting to take them to an area trauma center.

One other individual was taken by Cherokee EMS ground units to Redmond Regional Medical Center in Rome, the other two victims were treated at the scene.

The Gaylesville & Cedar Bluff Fire Departments, Cherokee EMS, Redmond EMS, Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies, Cherokee County EMA Officials and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.

The exact cause is currently under investigation.
