Floyd County Authorities Searching For Man Who Fled The Scene Of A Wreck

The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office has released a photo of a man who fled from law enforcement after wrecking his truck Wednesday morning.

The man has been identified as Bennie Roderick Duvall III. He is 28-years old, 5’09” and 160 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes.

Officials say he fled from the U.S. Marshal Fugitives Division. The officer did not have a radio in his vehicle and was relaying information by telephone.

Other law enforcement agencies joined in the pursuit in the area of Kingston Highway and Ga. Loop 1. It ended when he wrecked his black 1978 Chevrolet truck into another vehicle at the intersection.

A female passenger, Tasha Marie Owens and Duvall fled but officers were able to capture Owens. She is being held without bond on a drug trafficking charge.

Drugs were found in the suspect’s vehicle. The Floyd County Sheriff’s Office said there are a number of people out looking for Duvall.
