One northwest Georgia company has announced a multi-million dollar expansion that will add around 50 new jobs over the next three years.
Neaton Rome will undergo an $8 million dollar expansion of its existing facility, located on Technology Parkway; the company manufactures parts for Nissan and Honda automobiles; the additional production is being shifted from Japan to the U.S.
This will be Neaton’s fifth expansion.
The company has grown from 35 employees in 2001 to a projected 500 employees by 2016.
