Floyd County Coroner’s Office Seeking Information From The Public After A Pedestrian Was Struck And Killed By A Truck

The Floyd County Coroner is seeking the public’s help in identifying a man killed this morning after being struck by a truck on U.S. 27 near Miller Mountain Road.

According to Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor the pedestrian was struck by a Ford Ranger truck this morning around 5:30 a.m. He is described as a white male around 50 years old.

He was wearing sweatpants and a blue jacket and tennis shoes.
