A 37 year old Floyd County man was arrested Sunday afternoon at his residence on charges out of Tennessee.
According to Floyd County Police reports, Elbert Leroy Tate was arrested around 1:30pm on multiple warrants out of Wilson County, Tennessee, which is near Nashville. Tate failed to show up to face charges there and records indicated that four of the warrants were on drug charges and a fifth warrant was issued on theft charges. He was also arrested in Franklin County, Tennessee in September of this year on vandalism and theft charges.
Tate was being held without bond in the Floyd County Jail as a Fugitive from Justice.
