Former Centre Attorney Rodney Stallings Pleads Guilty To More Charges

Former Centre Attorney, Rodney Loring Stallings has entered guilty pleas in Cherokee County Circuit Court for charges of theft by deception, 1st degree and two counts of forgery 2nd degree.

In each of these cases, Stallings has been sentenced to 15 years split sentence on each count to serve 24 months in the each case to run concurrently with his previous sentence of 15 years split to serve 24 months after being convicted in Circuit Court of theft of property 1st degree.

In addition to the prison time, Stallings was ordered to pay restitution of $2,922.22 to a local victim with the latest charges. He is to also pay court costs and bond fees.

After being released from prison, Judge Shaunathan Bell ordered Stallings to be on probation of 5 years in each case which is to run consecutively.

According to Court records, the pleas were entered on January 7th.
