Smoke could be seen for miles Wednesday evening, due to a fire which broke out at the old Harriet & Henderson building on the Back Berryton Road in Chattooga County.
The facility, once a cotton mill now operates as a recycling center; firefighters were able to contain the fire to one section of the building, with several area departments responding to the location.
The building caught fire in July 2012, burning for several days and requiring the assistance of fire departments out of Alabama and Tennessee to bring the blaze under control.
