A Rainbow City Youth Pastor has been charged with production of pornography with a minor.
Rainbow City Police Capt. Chase Jenkins said 38 year old Ryan Lance Roberson was arrested on warrant for producing pornography with a person under the age of 17. He was served with the warrant while in the Etowah County Detention Center.
Roberson is being held there on $25,000 cash bond. His social media profile and other online documents identify him as having served as the youth pastor at The Church at Mercy Hill. However, the church no longer lists him on the website.
Jenkins stated that Roberson is to have no contact with the victim in this case nor shall he have any unsupervised contact with a person under 18 years of age.
