Fort Payne Man Arrested On Numerous Domestic Violence Charges On Sunday

According to Sheriff Jeff Shaver, 50 year-old Terrell D. Marshall of Fort Payne was arrested Sunday evening in Collinsville by Cherokee County investigators for multiple domestic violence charges.

Deputies responded to a residence east of Centre on Sunday morning after a female reported she had been assaulted by someone she had been in a relationship with.  After Sheriff’s Office investigators took the suspect into custody, he was transported by Collinsville Police to the Collinsville city jail and was later transported to the Cherokee County Detention Center.  

Chief Investigator Josh Summerford charged Marshall with domestic violence by strangulation, second degree domestic violence-assault second, second degree domestic violence-burglary third, third degree domestic vi violence-menacing, and second degree unlawful imprisonment. He remains in the Cherokee County Detention Center on a $38,000 bond.
