Fort Payne Parks & Recreation Announces Closures In Accordance With Public Health Orders

Fort Payne Parks & Recreation has instituted the following in accordance with the latest order from Governor Ivy and the Alabama Department of Public Health: Wills Valley Recreation Center –will be closed  to the public until April 17th or until the order is lifted. Memberships will be extended to compensate for the time closed.

If you need to cancel your membership, please call between 8am and 3pm Monday through Friday at 256/844-6571 or email dgeorge@fortpayne.org. DeSoto Golf Course & Grill-will closed to the public until April 17th or the order is lifted. Athletics –Spring Softball, Tee-Ball and Baseball are canceled.

They will be mailing refunds to the address listed on the registration form. This process may take a few weeks. There is a possibility for a summer program. Information will be posted on social media. Parks, Playgrounds and Open Spaces–Are closed to the public until April 17thor the order is lifted.

This is certainly a fluid situation, and they appreciate your readiness for adjustment.

Adjustments may be made as deemed by Alabama Department of Public Health, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the Alabama State Department of Education, and the Governor’s Task Force.
