Fort Payne Woman Charged In A Home Invasion

A Fort Payne woman has been charged in connection with a home invasion at 13th Street NW Apartment #45 on Saturday.

Police Chief Randy Bynum said that witnesses reported that a white female along with a juvenile white female burst into the back door of this residence looking for the renter of the apartment.

The witnesses stated the renter of the apartment was not present at that time.  The witnesses also stated they chased the offenders out of the residence and the offenders left the area. 

Chief Bynum stated approximately two and half hours later the offenders went back to the residence kicking in the back door and making entry into the apartment. 

The offenders chased the renter and another person from the residence to a neighbor’s home.  The offender then threw an object into a residence at 204 13th Street NW.

The offender was apprehended and identified in both home invasions as Terry Lynn Clark, age 36 of Fort Payne. 

Clark is charged with two counts of Burglary 2nd degree, throwing an object through a glass window shattering glass onto two children, Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct with more charges pending.

 

Bynum stated bond on these charges were set at $106,500.
