Four individuals were arrested on drug charges in Cherokee County on Wednesday.

Christopher Leigh Hunter, age 37, Merissa Skylar Mobbs, 32 and Tracy Glenn Storey, age 49 – all of Centre – were each charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Hunter was also charged with Resisting Arrest and with a Violation of Protection Order and Mobbs was additionally charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree.

Meanwhile, Nathan Levi Mayhall, age 37 of Centre was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Bond for Hunter was set at $9,000 / $5,500 for Mobbs / $3,000 for Storey / and $1,000 for Mayhall.

As of Thursday morning all four remained in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
