Four Arrested on Drug Charges at Summerville-Area Apartment Complex

The Summerville Police Department in response to tips from the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, recently responded to the Devanwood Apartments in Summerville in order to follow up on reports of suspected drug activity.

According to the Sheriff’s Office and Lookout Mountain Judicial Drug Task Force, occupants at the complex were believed to be dealing in drugs, and possibly sex trafficking activity.

When officers arrived at the location they were met at the door by a female – and according to the report, detected the odor of burnt marijuana inside the apartment.  Upon receiving consent to search the premises, law enforcement found drug paraphernalia and THC wax.

None of the four people at the residence claimed ownership of the drugs – and all four were arrested.  Those taken into custody at the scene included Tasia Greene,  Glen Walker, Larell Hampton, and Kimberly McHelaney, each being charged with Possession of Schedule I Drug, as well as Possession or Use of Drug Related objects.
