Cherokee County authorities rounded up four people on drug charges overnight (Sunday).

Amanda Leanne Ogles, age 31 / Blake Ellis Wood, age 27 / and Shanna Michelle Wetzel age 34 – all of Gadsden / and Casey Lee Campbell, age 29 of Ashville – were each charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Ogles was also charged with Promoting Prison Contraband 2nd Degree.

All were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center between 11:30pm Sunday and 1:00am Monday.

They were arrested by Leesburg Police Officer Chris Vaughn, with assistance by the Centre Police Department and Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.

All four remain behind bars awaiting setting of bond.
