Four-Vehicle Wreck in DeKalb County Leaves Eight People Injured

A four-vehicle accident taking place on Highway 68 in DeKalb County Friday night resulted in a total of eight injuries according to Alabama State Troopers.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report logged in that wreck as occurring at 8:00 – involving a 2013 Peterbilt, driven by Donald Woods of Boaz, listed as injured; a 2001 Ford driven by Phildelfo Alvarado-Morales, who was unhurt however two passengers were injured – Guadalupe and Alejandro Cruz, both of Crossville; a 2017 Dodge, being driven by Union Grove resident Jacob Mount, who was listed as injured; and a ‘92 Chevrolet driven by Juan Garcia of Albertville – he, and three passengers – Ivone, Evelyn and Yaneli Garcia were listed as injured on the report.

No additional information regarding the extent of injuries suffered by any of those involved was noted.

The cause of that accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
