ROME, Ga. – The Cherokee County Warriors went on a 20-3 run in the fourth quarter to take a 62-47 boys basketball victory at Coosa, Ga. on Friday.
Cade Hooper led the Warriors (4-1) with 14 points, including four 3-pointers. Jaden Wilson added 13 points. Jack Amos, Landon Caldwell and Jackson Neyman each finished with nine points.
Joseph Richardson led the Eagles with a game-high 22 points. Aaron Davis delivered 11 points. Zaire Philyaw finished with 10 points.
The Warriors trailed 18-15 at the end of the first quarter, 27-26 at halftime and 44-42 at the end of three quarters.
Cherokee County plays at Jacksonville on Tuesday.
