Ft Payne Man Arrested in Chattooga County Twice in One Day

A DeKalb County Alabama man apparently had a hard time learning his lesson in Chattooga County Georgia – being arrested twice in one day for driving without a valid license – which landed him in jail.  Jeremy Brown was stopped just after midnight, with two minor children in his vehicle and he admitted to the deputy that stopped him he had no driver’s license.  Brown was placed under arrest and the mother of his children came to pick them up.

Later the same day, Brown was standing outside a vehicle at Victory Fuels in Trion.  A deputy who had been on the traffic stop earlier, parked across the street and observed, as Brown got in the driver’s seat and pulled out onto Highway 27 traveling north with his wife pulling out behind him.  The deputy followed them to Emory Street at Tatum Road – where the officer conducted a traffic stop and arrested Brown – again – for driving without a valid license.

Brown was booked into the Chattooga County Jail on the charges.
