A 43 year old Ft Payne man was taken into custody Monday on Grand Jury Indictments for Attempted Murder and Aggravated Assault. Roy Alonzo Allen stands charged with attacking and injuring a family member, identified as Don Juan Odom, with a piece of wood that had a nail in it, back on August 15th. According to court records, Allen also pulled a gun on a woman during the incident.
No additional information is being released at this time. If convicted of attempted murder Allen could face a prison term of up to 20 years.
