A DeKalb County woman was hurt in a two-vehicle accident over the weekend in Cherokee County.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report that wreck occurred at 1:42pm Sunday on Alabama Highway 273, and involved a 2008 Buck, being driven by Anita Vaughn age 53 of Ft Payne and a 2008 Infiniti driven by 19 year old Madeline Dulaney from Dayton, Tennessee.
Dulaney was unhurt however Vaughn was listed as being injured in the mishap although no details regarding the extent of her injuries had been noted in the report. She was wearing a seat belt at the time.
The cause of that accident remains under investigation by state troopers.
