“Fuller House” cuts ties with showrunner Jeff Franklin amid behavior complaints

Daniel Zuchnik/WireImage(LOS ANGELES) — Full House creator Jeff Franklin will no longer serve as showrunner of Netflix’s revival series Fuller House following complaints about his behavior, Variety reports.

Warner Bros. TV has also decided not to renew its overall deal with Franklin.

Multiple sources tell Variety that the studio is cutting ties after receiving complaints that Franklin was verbally abusive and made inappropriate, sometimes sexually-charged, comments in the show’s writers’ room and on the set.

Sources claim he would also bring women he dated to set and sometimes give them bit parts in the series.

Franklin has yet to issue a response.

Netflix tells Variety in a statement, “Fuller House will return for a fourth season, as planned. We hope to go into production in the next few months.”
