Gadsden Man Charged With Burglary And Theft

A Gadsden man has been arrested for the theft of stolen property.

According to Etowah County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Josh Morgan, 29-year old Jonathon Wade Guyton is charged with one count of third degree burglary, one count of first degree theft of property and one count of second degree theft of property.

All of the charges are felonies and bond is set at $10,000.

Guyton allegedly broke into a residence located on Owens Drive in Gadsden on Thursday, November 7th and stole a computer, 4-wheeler, jewelry and several guns.

Sgt. Tripp Noojin and Deputy Charles McKinney assisted investigators in recovering the stolen items at Guyton’s house.

Information from community members led to the arrest.

Guyton is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center.
