A Gadsden man remains behind bars after being caught with about five pounds of pot – that, according to Phil Sims with the Etowah County Drug Enforcement Unit.
27 year old Devin Okee was taken into custody at a Hill Avenue home, after agents received information that drug sales had allegedly been taking place at that location; the drug agents spoke with the homeowner and inside, they found approximately five pounds of marijuana in addition to a small amount of synthetic marijuana.
Okee was placed under arrest and taken to the Etowah County Detention Center where he’s being held on a bond of $10,000.
He has been charged with Trafficking and additional charges may follow.
