Gadsden Police Investigating Report of Shots Fired

On Tuesday of this week, a 29 year old man contacted the Gadsden Police Department, saying he had been shot at following a fist fight.

He told officers that two other men, age 20 and 25 – had come to his residence and started a fight with him; later that same day the complainant said he went to where the mailboxes are located on north Sixth Street and that’s when the men he’d fought with earlier, drove up – and fired a shot at him.

He told officers he rammed his vehicle into the one being driven by the two men.

Gadsden Police Captain Bobby Jackson, said none of the men were hurt in either confrontation – he added that all parties are being interviewed by detectives regarding the circumstances leading to the dispute – and that charges are pending.
