Gadsden Residents Asked To Be On The Lookout For This Man, Wanted For Attempted Murder And Attempted Kidnapping

Gadsden residents are asked to be on the lookout for a man wanted for attempted murder and attempted kidnapping. It all started earlier this week in Decatur when, officers say, Trevonne Jackson of Gadsden forced his way into his ex-girlfriend’s car and tried to crash it in order to injure the woman.

She managed to get out and call for help, but Jackson left the scene before police arrived. On Thursday, police say Jackson forced his way into the woman’s apartment with a handgun, took her 6-year-old daughter, and put her into a car.

While Jackson was distracted, the woman grabbed the gun, fired several shots into the air, grabbed her daughter, and ran to safety. Police say Jackson got into the car and again left the scene. Investigators believe Jackson was heading to Gadsden with two other men in a white, 2006 Nissan Altima. If you see Jackson, you are urged to contact local authorities.
