GADSDEN STATE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION CONDUCTS MEMBERSHIP DRIVE
Alumni and supporters of Gadsden State Community College are encouraged to join the Alumni Association.
The Gadsden State Alumni Association is a corporation established to advance, support and promote the interests of the College, its students, alumni and association members.
In 2015 the Alumni Association awarded three $1,000 scholarships and Outstanding Faculty Awards as well as awards for Outstanding Alumni and Distinguished Service.
There are varying membership levels for the Alumni Association:
Associate: Gadsden State faculty and staff, spouses of graduates and friends of the College
Corporate: Business and industry within the College service area
Graduate: Individuals who have graduated from certificate or degree programs at Gadsden State
Regular: Current and former, full-time or part-time Gadsden State students
Gadsden State students graduating with a certificate or degree receive a one-year complimentary membership.
The annual membership is $20 a year or lifetime memberships are available for $300 (installment plans are available).
Membership dues for the student chapter of the Gadsden State Alumni Association is $10 per year.
Benefits to joining the Alumni Association include a leather portfolio and a parking hangtag which allows members to park on any Gadsden State campus, utilize the library resources and attend home athletic events at no cost. Lifetime members receive a gold hangtag while annual members receive a silver hangtag with an expiration date.
