GADSDEN STATE HOSTS STUDENT SUCCESS WORKSHOP

Gadsden State Community College is hosting a Student Success Workshop beginning at noon, Tuesday, Sept. 17 at Gadsden State Cherokee.

The workshop “How to Get Free Money: Transfer Scholarships” is designed for students planning to transfer to a four-year university. Snacks and drinks will be served.

Gadsden State students are also invited to attend a Transfer Fair from 9 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 2 at the Cherokee Arena held in conjunction with the Cherokee County College Fair.

Representatives from over 20 colleges will be available to answer questions and provide prospective students with information on scholarships, financial aid, and housing

The workshops are free and are sponsored by Student Support Services and Advisement Resource Center.
