GADSDEN STATE COMMUNITY COLLEGE EDUCATION BRIEFS

GSCC TECH STUDENTS SPONSOR COAT DRIVE 

GADSDEN, ALA. – Community supporters, faculty, staff and students of Gadsden State are encouraged to support area shelters and mission centers by donating new or mildly-used coats, jackets and hoodies for children and adults. The annual drive, sponsored by the Electrical Technology Department, will continue through Jan. 30, 2020. Items may be dropped off in Gadsden at Prater Hall on the Valley Street Campus; the Electrical Technology Building, Administration Building or GSCC Bookstore on the East Broad Campus and on the Wallace Drive Campus at the Maintenance Building or VUB Program at Beck Field House. Items may be dropped off in Anniston at the Ayers Campus Electrical Technology Building and at the main office of Gadsden State Cherokee in Centre. SPRING SEMESTER 2020 REGISTRATION UNDERWAY AT GADSDEN STATE 

GADSDEN, ALA.–Online registration at Gadsden State Community College for Spring Semester 2020 is underway and continues through Jan. 16 with classes beginning Jan. 10 for full spring semester and spring mini I term. Visit www.gadsdenstate.edu [2] and click on the link to “ONEACCS” at the top of the page to begin the registration process. To be admitted, click on the link provided.

GADSDEN, ALA.–Gadsden State’s Division of Fine Arts has music scholarships available with the Show Band for the spring semester. Interested students can set up an audition for the Show Band by contacting Dr. Matt Leder at mleder@gadsdenstate.edu [11] or call 256-549-8394. Candidates must be an Alabama resident.
