The Office of Career Services at Gadsden State Community College will host a Health Sciences Employment Opportunity Fair Tuesday, February 24 at Helderman Hall located on the Wallace Drive Campus in Gadsden from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. All health science majors and the general public are welcome to attend at no cost. Gadsden State Community College will host its annual Transfer Day on Thursday, January 29 at the Ayers and Wallace Drive campuses. The Ayers session will be held from 8:30 – 10:00 a.m. on the 2nd floor of the Cheaha Center. The Wallace Drive session will be held in the Inzer Student Center Cafeteria from 11:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. Representatives from four-year colleges and universities will be present to answer questions and provide prospective students with information on scholarships, financial aid, and housing. Gadsden State Community College Student Activities is sponsoring 3-on-3 intramural basketball for the spring semester. Games are scheduled for each Wednesday in February at the Gadsden Middle School Gymnasium located at 612 Tracy Street. Four games will be played each week in 30-minute intervals beginning at 3:00 p.m. The roster deadline for teams to participate is Friday, January 30 at 11:00 a.m. at which time a team captain meeting will be held in Inzer Hall, Room 140.
