Gadsden State’s Valley Street Campus to Host Jazz Cafe

GADSDEN STATE’S VALLEY STREET CAMPUS TO HOST JAZZ CAFE

Gadsden State Community College’s Valley Street Campus is celebrating Black History Month with the 2018 Jazz Café. It will be from noon to 1 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Student Center.  It is free and open to the public.

The event will include café-style study areas for students as well as free coffee, drinks, pastries and popcorn. Entertainment will be provided by spoken word artist/poet Elizabeth Wynn-Croft aka the Serum of Truth and the Gadsden State Jazz Band, under the direction of Dr. Matt Leder. 

Wynn-Croft has been writing poetry since age 6 and released her first book in 2015, Food 4 Thought: Spiritual Appetizers.
