A Gadsden woman has been jailed on one count of first degree theft of property following an incident more than two months ago.
According to a news release from the Etowah County Sheriff’s Office, 37-year old Patricia Lorene Jones allegedly stole two rings from a residence located at Lawson Gap Road in Boaz.
The incident occurred on September 13, 2013.
Jones admitted to investigators she stole the rings and traded them for cocaine.
She is currently being detained in the Etowah County Detention Center on the felony charge without bond due to a probation violation.
