Gaylesville Man Charged with Attempting to Commit Aggravated Child Molestation

A Gaylesville man was arrested Monday after reportedly traveling to Floyd County, Georgia to meet someone he believed to be a minor for sex.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 27 year old Michael William Daniel made contact with the person on-line, engaged in a sexually graphic conversation, sent lewd pictures, and asked for nude pictures in return.

Daniel is charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, the sexual exploitation of children, obscene internet contact with a child, furnishing obscene material to a minor and use of a computer to entice a child.
