Gaylesville Man Facing Drug Charges in DeKalb County

According to DeKalb County Sheriff Nick Welden, his office, along with the County Narcotics Unit, has already made a total of 27 drug arrests for the month of February – including one Cherokee County resident.

On Monday February 1st Narcotics Agents encountered a suspicious subject in a parking lot on Glenn Blvd SW in Ft Payne.  Upon speaking with the man, and upon further investigation they discovered that 50 year old Robert Harry Farris of Gayllesville – was in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. 

Farris was placed under arrest on charges of – Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
