GAYLESVILLE – The Gaylesville Lady Trojans split a pair of home volleyball matches on Tuesday. They lost in area play to Cedar Bluff 15-25, 25-27, 11-25 and defeated Gaston 25-10, 25-10 to improve to 5-4 on the season.
Andreah Calvert collected seven aces, five digs and two assists. Emma Givens added six aces, four assists and two digs. Aubrie Peek posted four kills and three digs. Peyton Bright also had four kills and three assists. Delaney Coker contributed four digs, two kills and an ace. Sydney Smith finished with two kills, two aces, a dig and a block.
Gaylesville travels to Coosa Christian on Thursday.
