Georgia Woman Hurt in Tuesday Night Accident on Highway 411 North

An 18 year old Georgia woman was hurt in a single-vehicle accident on Highway 411 North Tuesday just after 8:00pm.  That wreck involved a 2004 Dodge pickup that left the roadway near the Hardin School General Store and struck a tree.

The driver of that vehicle, 22 year old Kenan Mitchell of Kennesaw, Georgia was reportedly unhurt however the passenger in the vehicle, Lindsey Collins, also of Kennesaw was injured and was transported from the scene to Cherokee Medical Center for treatment.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency Accident report indicated that she was wearing her seat belt at the time.

Those responding to the scene included – Alabama State Troopers, Cherokee EMS, McCords Fire Department and the Cherokee County Rescue Squad.
