COLLINSVILLE – Collinsville dropped a pair of Class 3A, Area 12 basketball games Tuesday night to visiting Geraldine. The Lady Panthers lost 42-30, while the Panther boys fell 70-43.

In the girls game, Sophie Wills led Collinsville with 10 points. Kayla Beene sank three treys and finished with nine points. Tyla Tatum tallied seven points.

Chloe Murdock topped Geraldine with 10 points. Gracey Johnson added seven points. Alexis Powell posted six points. Shelby Trester and JJ Dismuke both finished with five points.

Collinsville led 6-5 at the end of the first quarter, but Geraldine forged out ahead 14-8 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs built a 27-14 advantage at the end of three quarters.

In the boys game, Connor Johnson rang for 16 points, including four treys, to lead Geraldine. Jackson Colvin contributed 13 points. Lucas Bryant and Carlos Mann finished with nine and eight points respectively. 

Alex Garcia led the Panthers with 22 points. Luke Henderson finished with five points.

Collinsville hosts Hokes Bluff on Friday.
