iStock/Thinkstock(CHEMNITZ, Germany) — Police have arrested three people in Chemnitz in eastern Germany, believed to be connected to a planned bomb attack.
Suspect Jaber al-Bakr, 22, has not been arrested. He is a from Syria. Authorities have released a photo of him wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Authorities raided an apartment after they were tipped off by an intelligence service, according to the BBC. The report adds Hundreds of grams of explosives were also discovered.
Two of the people detained were reportedly at the Chemnitz railway station according to state police. The third person was detained near the apartment that is being searched.
