The owner of a small boat which was stolen earlier in the month is actively seeking to bring the person or persons responsible to justice.  

He has released a photo of a late model Ford F-150, apparently used to take the craft from a private storage building behind the Dollar General store in Centre – on the night of Tuesday November 6th.  According to security camera footage the incident occurred around 1:30am – the truck is believed to be gold in color.

The boat was recovered, capsized, the following morning in Weiss Lake near the boat docks between Centre and Cedar Bluff.  Owner Daniel Johnson is currently offering a cash reward for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.
