A half-dozen drug arrests were made in Cherokee County on Thursday.

Raymond Eugene Sheppard age 34 of Centre; Jacob DeWayne Roe age 23 of Tallapoosa; Ciji Nicole White, 33 of Cedar Bluff and Rita Diane White, age 62 of Cedar Bluff were all charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance and Drug Paraphernalia and Rita White was additionally charged with Hindering Prosecution.

While Antonio Bernard Kelley, age 40 of Gadsden, was charged with two counts of Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree – and Scottie Leonard Parker, 34 of Anniston was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Parker has since been released after making bond of $1,000 – meanwhile the remaining five remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center awaiting setting of bond.
