HAMILTON “HAMP” MCDANIEL age 94 of Centre passed away Saturday May 23rd at Cherokee Health and Rehab.

Graveside services will be 3 PM Wednesday May 27th at Pine Grove Cemetery with Rev. Donald Guttery officiating. 

Pallbearers include Bob McDaniel, Robert McDaniel, Greg McDaniel, Adam Hayes, Skyler McDaniel and Drake Nowland.

Mr. McDaniel is survived by three sons Bobby (Dianne)McDaniel of Centre, Glen (Vonda) McDaniel of Centre, and Rayburn (Cindy) McDaniel of Centre; three daughters, Betty (Charles) Jenkins of Gadsden, Wanda Nelson of Centre and Kathy (Roy Lee) Kerr of Centre; also 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Louella Hooper McDaniel, Infant son, grandsons, Sammy Dale Hayes and Chris McDaniel, son-in-law, Lavon Nelson, 2 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Mr. McDaniel was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Robert Lee and Willie Cobb McDaniel.
