Hays State Prison Inmate Charged with Felony Murder

A Hays Prison inmate has been charged with felony Murder and Aggravated Assault.

That charge was made by Georgia Department of Corrections investigators – 27 year old Timothy “Green Light” Teasley was booked in on Tuesday at the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office.

Teasley has been incarcerated since his September 2012 conviction on the charges of Robbery and Aggravated Assault.

Chattooga County Sheriff Mark Schrader stated Tuesday Teasley had been brought to Hays Prison from Jackson State Prison in Butts County.  Sheriff Schrader said that the Department of Corrections has been investigating a murder that happened on March 19th, 2020 while Teasley was incarcerated.  He would’ve been up for possible parole in 2022 on the earlier charges, according to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
