Hazel Ardell Steele, age 80 of Rome, GA., passed away Friday, June 6th at Cherokee Medical Center.

Graveside services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, June 7th at Unity Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1:PM Saturday.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy (Terri) White of Rome, GA; daughter, Jane Graves of Rome, GA; brother, Donnie Charles of Rome, GA; sisters, Betty Crane of Cedar Bluff, Lillie Mae Satcher of Rome, GA, Peggy Vaughn of Valleyhead, Joyce Burgess of Rome, GA; grandchildren, Tanny Cox, Cindy Barker, Destiny Hall; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Steele, daughter, Ginger Haggard, brothers, Buddy Charles, Johnny Charles; sisters, Lessie King, Vickie Little.

Mrs. Steele was a native of Cleburne County, the daughter of the late, Arlin and Minnie Lou Collins Charles and was a member of Gaylesville Baptist Church.
