Help Shine A Light Of Love During The Holiday Season

Let a light shine this holiday season for a loved one and also help Heyman HospiceCare at Floyd further its mission to provide quality care and support for the patients it serves.

The Love Light Tree will be illuminated atop Floyd Medical Center beginning Thanksgiving night, Nov. 22, and will stay lit through early January. Each light on the tree represents a special person in the lives of those touched by Heyman HospiceCare. For a donation of as little as $25, you can name a light in honor of a loved one, friend or caregiver.

“The Love Light Tree is a symbol of the community’s support of our efforts to provide exceptional end-of-life care,” said Casey Blankenship, Program Director for Heyman HospiceCare. “It provides the agency with the capacity to do the extra things that mean so much to our patients and families. Often, these are not extravagant requests but more along the lines of simple items that make life better for our patients and families.”
