WEIS Radio received a call from Representative Ginny Shaver Friday morning, and she had some long-awaited, highly-anticipated good news to share with Cherokee County residents:
The project is being underwritten by first year “Rebuild Alabama” funds, and includes some five miles between Cherokee and Etowah counties – eventually providing Cherokee County with its first four-lane access to an interstate – which is critical for economic development.
