Hostess Snack Products Recall Issued

Hostess RecallThe Hostess Company announced that they are recalling 710,000 cases of snack cakes and donuts because its flour supplier, Grain Craft, has announced a recall of its own because of undeclared peanut residue.

So far, the company has received two reports of allergic reactions after consuming specific products, so the company is recalling a set of specific snacks that contain the affected flour.

That recall currently involves – Chocodiles, Ding Dongs, Zingers, chocolate donuts, crunch donuts, devil’s food donuts, glazed mini donuts, maple donuts, and powdered donuts. It includes single-serve products, multi-pack boxes, and bagged donuts.

If you purchased any of those recalled products and you have an allergy to peanuts, Hostess wants you immediately throw it out or return it to where you purchased it for a full refund.

You can call Hostess at 1-800-686-2813 or visit hostesscakes.com for more information.
