Firefighters with the Centre and Spring Creek departments responded to a report of a fire at #9 Smith Court at Northwood Estates in Centre on Monday evening
According to Centre Fire Chief Jeremy Lee, someone was cleaning up the lot and decided to pile up the debris left from when the house originally caught fire back in October of 2018.
Both departments were initially dispatched the fire at that location around 6:00 p.m. that evening and then again at 10:20 p.m.
Chief Lee said that firefighters used approximately 20,000 gallons of water to extinguish the fire.
The individual that set the fire did not have a permit to do so according to Chief Lee.
