The investigation into the weekend discovery of a badly decomposed body in the Cloudland area continues.
Little information has yet been released – however it has been confirmed the body was that of a female, and was discovered on Saturday in the High Church area off of Highway 157, by hunters. According to law enforcement, an abandoned vehicle had been found in that same general vicinity back in March, but no missing person reports have been issued that appear to match up with the basic timeline.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is working with local officials on the case.
