Shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 14, employees at the Surgery Center of Deaton Veterinary Services in Cedar Bluff arrived for work and found that the facility had been broken into sometime throughout the night of Friday, December 13th. 

Cedar Bluff Police Investigator Chris Vaughn, along with a Private Forensic Science Division, and multiple agencies are working the case. 

No details surrounding the specifics of the case have been made available at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation. 

Dr. Deaton says, “Around the holiday season, this is especially irritating to me for someone to break into my office and steal from our team. I have enlisted the help of a Forensic Science team to help us bring the responsible party to justice. A $5000 reward is being offered by me for information that leads to a successful prosecution in this case. Citizens, please protect your valuables during this holiday season. ”
