Boaz Police continue their investigation into a possession of child pornography case – that, in the wake of a call from the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
According to a report by WAFF TV48, that information provided investigators with enough probable cause to obtain a search warrant for the home of Kerry Dale Knott, who resides in Summerville Homes just inside the city limits of Boaz.
Authorities removed several computers and other electronic devices from the home.
Knott, age 43, was taken into custody at his home and later released on bond.
Police state that more charges are possible, once the analysis on the devices gathered from Knott’s home has been completed.
